Dubai Exiles Cricket Club would have gone into this match with Emirates NBD CC with one eye on the top of the Dubai Super League table. After a hard fought match, the bankers of Emirates NBD accrued the points. Ajay Krishnan was the stand out performer with the bat for the Exiles, 57 off 49 balls, three x 4s, two x 6s before finally being caught off the bowling of Raja Hudda. Captain Dave Adams, batted and battled his way to 31 off 28 balls.

The Exiles had set a total to beat of 169 for the loss of 8 wickets by the end of their 25 overs. With a slow outfield it was difficult to decide if it was going to be a hard target for Emirates NBD to reach.
As it turned out, the bankers had plenty of batting in their vaults and set about their 170 target. After some excellent batting from MS Shahir (65 off 51) and HK Khan (50 off 28, not out), Emirates NBD thumped their way to a total of 171 off 22.1 overs.
