Dubai Exiles Cricket Club is thrilled to enter an exclusive partnership with Rajasthan Royals Cricket Academy UAE, based at the cricket ovals of the world-famous Sevens Stadium in Dubai.
IPL franchise Rajasthan Royals are committed to unearthing new cricketing talent and opened their first UAE based academy at The Sevens Cricket Grounds in 2020. It is the Rajasthan Royals‘ first academy in the Middle East and only their second global cricket academy after its sister venue in London.
Rajasthan Royals Academy UAE shares the same values as Dubai Exiles Cricket Club, a cricket club in the truest of sense. Both are committed to creating an enjoyable yet challenging environment for cricketers to learn, practice, play and develop. The ambition of this partnership is to create opportunities for UAE based players to improve as players on and off the pitch and, ultimately, feed them into the Rajasthan Royals High Performance Programme.
A pathway to that programme now exists in Dubai and the UAE, through the Rajasthan Royals Academy UAE, with it possible for the most talented players in the country to access Rajasthan Royals first teams. With Dubai Exiles Cricket Club and Rajasthan Royals Academy both located at The Sevens Cricket Grounds in Dubai, the benefits of a partnership are obvious. Rajasthan Royals Academy UAE members will be able to join Dubai Exiles Cricket Club at a discounted rate to enable them to play and practice their skills in the many different competitive leagues that the club competes in throughout the season. That includes the Dubai Super League and DCC League for Mammoths at The Sevens, as well as the Victoria Weekdays Champions Cup and the Alliance Friday Bash both in Sharjah at the Skyline Cricket Grounds.
