Indoor Cricket is certainly very fast, a lot of fun, but still extremely competitive. Yesterday evening was another final for Dubai Exiles Cricket Club and another very late start to chase the silverware on offer in the ICC Academy Summer Cup played at the ICC’s indoor facility in Dubai Sports City.

Divjot Singh enjoys a joke
Indoor cricket rules are simple enough, 8 a side, every player has to bowl, you bat in ‘pairs’ and each ‘pair’ faces three overs. If you get ‘out’ you stay ‘in’ but 5 runs are removed from your team’s score. 2 runs for a wide ball. So, general rule of thumb – go for it!

Varun Kumar accepts the trophy for Dubai Exiles Cricket Club
Dubai Exiles Cricket Club‘s Mitul Kapadia, Anshu Gopal, Javed Kotyad, Aditya Khurana, Vikram Nayak, Shayan Khiliji, Divjot Singh, and Varun Kumar certainly went for it and after 90 minutes of both teams swinging bats and thumping the indoor cricket ball around the arena, Exiles Cricket took over on the scoreboard and left the ICC at Dubai Sports City with the largest and shiniest trophy of the competition.
